November Beauty Favourites

P1000723

Another month goes by, another opportunity to share what I’ve loved throughout it. I have quite a few this month, but I will try to make sure the post isn’t too long. There’s nothing worse than reading a 10 minute long blog post! What have you been loving this month?

Urban Decay – Naked 2 Palette

I got this palette for my birthday and I have to say, I don’t know what I did without it. Every time I put eyeshadow on, I always use this. The colours are mainly golds and browns, which suit me the best! So there is no reason why I shouldn’t love this palette! 3 of my favourite colours are (left to right in the picture above) Half Baked, Chopper and YDK. I would recommend this to anyone.

Mac – Mineralize Blush in Dainty

This is such a beautiful blush. It’s quite sheer which I really like, but it’s definitely build able. I would describe it as a light pink but it does have a little bit of a gold shimmer. It’s a great everyday colour, and I think you could wear this all year round!

Mac – Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft Gentle

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. I had high expectations of this, but I never realised that it would be even better than that. It looks so natural, but at the same time, really effective. It’s very shimmery, as you’d expect from a highlighter, and it’s quite gold too. It glides on beautifully and I am head over heals in love with it!!

Benefit – Roller Lash

I realised that I hadn’t really talked about this mascara, because I use it pretty much everyday, that it doesn’t continue to surprise me. But it does wow me! It honestly does everything it says it will. It separates every single lash, and curls them insanely! This will always be my favourite mascara, and I don’t know how I coped without it.

Body Shop – Tea Tree Oil

This is an even stronger spot cream than the one I mentioned in my October Favourites, it’s really inexpensive too. I have to say it’s more difficult to apply compared to the spot wand, nevertheless, I can’t fault how well it works.

Nars – Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien

This is such a lovely colour and product! It glides on nicer than a lipstick, and has great pigmentation. It lasts a considerable amount of time, but I do need to top it up throughout the day. It’s a rose pink, so a very wearable shade, especially for this time of year. So, yeah, I really have loved this, this month!

Mac – Lip pencil in Soar

In the past I’ve found it difficult to find a neutral lip liner. Then, along came this one! It’s a pinky brown, and I usually wear this under Mac Brave, Velvet Teddy, Fanfare, but to be honest any lipstick shade that has pink or brown in, would go perfectly with this. Even though it’s not a pro longer wear pencil, it lasts ages!

Maybelline – Master Ink Eyeliner in Glitter

You are probably thinking, ‘why oh why, would I want a glitter eyeliner?’, and to be honest I thought the same when I bought it, but I thought I’d give it a go. I’m so glad I did! It has a subtle hint of gold glitter, when on the eyes, and it’s perfect for this time of year. The brush is so thin, which makes sure that you don’t over do it. I really want to try some other maybelline eyeliners like this, so let me know if you have any recommendations. It’s a nice change to my L’oreal Super Liner Superstar!

So that’s everything I’ve been loving this month! I really hope you enjoyed  it! Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of these products, I’d love to know! Oh, and this month I’m going to be posting 3 TIMES A WEEK, and they will all be christmas related! I will try and post more than 3 times, but the minimum will be 3. I’m really excited about doing this, because Christmas is one of my favourite times of year, and doing this will really get me in the spirit! Oh and do you like my Christmas banner! I took the photo yesterday and fell in love with it! I hope you like it too!
