It’s less than 2 weeks until Christmas, so if you haven’t got gifts for friends and family, I’m pretty sure you’ll be doing it very soon! So I thought I’d create a little gift guide for those of you who are on a tight budget, or you’re doing a secret santa that you have to spend £15 on. Most of the things are drugstore, and they’re all makeup. Enjoy…
Eco Tools – Eye Duo Brush Set – £6.99
For a friend that is just getting into makeup, I think this is a perfect gift. They aren’t that expensive for 4 brushes, and they are really good quality. They also have their uses on the handle which is a great help when you’re just starting out with makeup. I still really like these brushes and they’re easy to clean which is helpful too.
Maybelline – 24hr Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow – £4.99
These are a great dupe for MAC paint pots, and they’re less than half the price. They’re super long lasting, very versatile, in the sense that they can be used as bases/primers or an all over the eye. My favourite colour is this one, On and On Bronze, but there are more natural ones like ‘pink gold’. I think they’d be a great present for friends or family!
LOreal Paris – Superliner Superstar Eye Liner – £6.99
This is my all time favourite eyeliner. It’s so precise and easy to use, and it’s so lucky that it’s so inexpensive. If you know someone who loves eyeliner, or likes makeup, this would be a great gift! I’ve had mine for a good 6 months, and it’s no where near running out – touch wood! I couldn’t do my eyeliner with anything else!
Sleek – i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Au-Naturel – £7.99
As the name suggests, this is a very neutral and natural eyeshadow palette, so it suits everyones needs and tastes. I really like most of the shades in this palette, and I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t want to receive this for Christmas! The eyeshadows are really pigmented and there are so many of them! You really can’t go wrong with giving this palette as a gift!
Barry M – Gelly Nail Paint – £3.99
You can never go wrong with nail varnish! Especially when they are as cheap as these! You can get maybe 2 or 3 as a gift, because they don’t cost that much. They have so many different colours and types of nail varnish, that there is something for everyone!
Maybelline – Baby Lips Lip Balm – £2.99
If you’re not sure what to get someone, then I really recommend that you get one of these, because they are lip balms. I mean, everyone can make use of a lip balm! I mean they’re not exactly the best lip balms out there, but they are really cute and they do the job!
Rimmel – Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 05 – £5.49
I absolutely love this lipstick, and it’s so cheap! It’s a great colour for this time of year, and it’s a colour that’s appropriate for everyday. If you don’t get this for someone else, definitely get it for yourself, because it’s such a lovely colour and texture. I can’t fault this lipstick, I love it!
This comes right up to the maximum price point I set at the start, and to be honest it probably isn’t worth that much, but it’s still a really nice product to use. It lasts a long time, and there is a range of, quite neutral, colours. I really think that this would be a lovely gift to receive on Christmas, because Stilla is quite a popular brand, and would look like it costs more than it does.
Mac – Lipliner in Soar – £12.50
MAC is a brand that is high end – but considerably inexpensive, in some areas. So to receive a MAC product, may seem like you’ve spent a lot of money. I’m not saying that the more it costs, the better it is, but it looks like someone is really special in your life. I think this shade is very versatile, in that, it’s quite neutral so will go with everyday shades.
Mac – Satin Lipstick in Brave – £15.50
I know that this is 50p over the maximum price, but that’s really not a lot. Girls everywhere would be over joyed with getting a Mac lipstick for christmas, I’m sure, because they’re so popular and desirable. This shade, is a really nice and everyday colour, which I tend to wear a lot. But there are loads of other colours to choose from!
I hope you liked this post, there are loads of other products that are great as christmas presents. Many brands bring out christmas sets for christmas, but I thought I’d show you individual products, so you can combine them with maybe chocolate or something! Let me know in the comments or on twitter, whether you have got some inspiration from this posts, it’s always lovely to hear feedback!
