Favourite Beauty Products of 2015

I know that Wednesday and Sunday are my posting days, but I really wanted to post my favourite products of the year – on the last day of the year! You may notice that most of the products are from MAC, that’s because MAC is my favourite makeup brand, and probably over half of my makeup is from MAC. So, as you can imagine, most of my favourite products have been from MAC! Also, I’ve only really got into makeup since around June. Since then, my collection has grown massively! I love everything I have, but most of them are more recent purchases, as in I haven’t been using these products for the whole year. If I had’ve bought them in January, then I definitely would have loved them throughout the year.

Urban Decay – Naked 2 Palette

I love this palette so so much! Whenever I go on trips for longer than 4 days, I will take this, because it has all the colours you could ever possibly need! I love wearing gold eyeshadows anyway, so I love this palette because it has a mixture of golds, coppers, browns, even a silver and grey. I would like some more matte colours, but when I want to wear a shimmery eyeshadow, I always reach for this!

MAC – Studio Fix Powder plus Foundation

This powder has been so amazing! I naturally have quite oily skin, and this powder has really combated that. Some people say that it is really cakey, but I think it is actually quite sheer, but you can build it to a very heavy coverage. You can set makeup with it, but in all honesty, I prefer to use the Laura Mercier Loosing Setting Powder, but if I don’t have that, then this is the next best thing!

Becca – Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal

My favourite makeup to put on my face (so not eyes or lips) is highlight. I never get bored of collecting them, I just think they’re beautiful! I got this Becca highlight in a set, so it’s deluxe, but I will definitely buy the full size, because it is so so beautiful. I get compliments when I wear it, and it blends really nicely. I can’t even describe to you how much I have fallen in love with this!P1010193

MAC – 224 Tapered Blending Brush

Sometimes, I over do it with darker eyeshadows, but this brush always saves me! Even if I put on a massive blob of black eyeshadow, I could blend and blend and blend it with this brush, until it would look natural and diffused! I can’t do my eye makeup without it anymore!

Tom Ford – Lips & Boys Lipstick in Julian

This lipstick is the best thing in my life! Okay – slight exaggeration, but it is BEAUTIFUL, I only wear it on special occasions, because it is actually really small, but costs a lot of money! I do pair it with Mac Soar lipliner, just so it lasts a little bit longer. Honestly, I love everything about this lipstick, from the finish to the packaging. If you’re looking to treat yourself, take a look at Tom Ford Beauty, they have so many different colour lipsticks, that you’ll definitely find something you like!

MAC – Brave a Satin lipstick

Ever since i bought this, I’ve used it at every opportunity. I absolutely love it! I always apply Soar lipliner before, so it leaves a matte finish, but the lipstick makes it a creamy matte. It is so flattering on my skin tone, because I’m quite fair, and this is a pinky beige. I’ve spoken about it a lot, so there’s no need to go into much detail, but honestly, if you don’t have this – get it! You will fall madly in love, just like I have!

MAC – Soar lip pencil

I have already mentioned that I use this lip liner under both of those lipsticks, and that’s because it is so universal! I would say it’s a pinky brown, and they are pretty much the only two colours of lipstick I wear! It glides on nicely and lasts a long time, I don’t know what I would do without this in my makeup collection!

L’oreal – Super star liner & So couture eyeliners

These have been the only liquid eyeliners I have used for a very long time! The smaller one is So Couture, and I use it to outline where the wing will go, and then I fill it in with the Super Star liner. This method works really well for me, and makes a nice, neat and dainty wing and line, which – more often than not – I aim for!

Benefit – Roller Lash

This mascara has lasted me such a long time! In fact, this is the product that got me into makeup! It lengthens really nicely, separates effectively and curls naturally. I don’t get any clumps when I use this, which some people say they get!? It makes my lashes look so natural, but at the same time, makes them really visible, and they open up my eye! It also comes of really smoothly, which has obvious benefits!

P1010187That’s all really for my 2015 beauty favourites! There is a lot more I could’ve mentioned, but I stuck with the main 11. I hope you all have a wonderful New Years, and enjoy the last day of 2015! Wow – that flew by!
