January Favourites

Wow, here I am again, writing about my favourite products from this month! I know I say this every month, but this month has really flown by! I can’t believe that the first month of the year is over, I’m still in 2015! I don’t have a lot of products this month, but all of the products have been my absolute favourites! This is the first month that I have really fallen in love with all of the products and used almost every day! Don’t forget to follow me on Blog lovin’ !

Laura Mercier – Translucent Loose Setting Powder

I love love LOVE this powder! It mattifies my skin and sets my whole face, without making my makeup cakey. You really can’t tell that you’re wearing any makeup, it looks that natural. Also, I have noticed that my makeup lasts longer, and doesn’t slip around. I love this so much, and it is a lot easier to apply than it looks.

Vichy – SPF 25 BB Creme in Light

This bb creme is such a light coverage, and that is why I love it. It feels and looks so natural, it makes my skin look really healthy and it covers redness, which is really important to me! Combined with the Laura Mercier powder, it makes the skin look flawless. I can’t get enough of this duo and I’m sure I’ll be loving it for a long time!

Mac – Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade

I know that I was obsessed with Soft & Gentle for AGES, but I have loved this highlight even more! Soft & Gentle is a lot more glittery than this one, so this is better for the day. It is kind of matte, but still looks beautiful on the skin. It looks stark white in the pan, and when swatched, but as you blend it, it looks really natural. I might review this on a later date so you can get a better idea of what this is like!

Nars – Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base

This is one of the best eyeshadow primers I have ever tried! My eyeshadow does not budge when I apply this. It goes on quite greasy but set well without needing to powder over the top. I have used it in many different situations, and it has the same staying power in all of them. So I really recommend that you try this out!

Benefit – Bad gal Lash

I have done a review on this mascara here if you want a more in depth summary of it. But, I’ve been using this almost every single day, it looks really natural, and I just love how it makes my eyes look!

Too Faced – Boudoir Eyes

Again, I have a full blog post on this palette here, so go check that out for a more detailed review. I’ve absolutely loved these eyeshadows, I feel like there is the right balance of pinks and golds! Although it is expensive, there are some lovely shades and I don’t regret buying it one bit!

Mac – Mineralize Eyeshadow Duo in Dual Rays

This little duo is so pigmented and the gold is has chunks of glitter in. They complement each really nicely. The pale pink shade is so beautiful for all over the eye, and the gold for the centre of the lid, this look is so natural, but the gold is nice with any crease colour, to add a lot of sparkle. I can’t get enough of these shadows.

I know this will seem really weird, but I have been absolutely obsessed with Vaseline! I have so many different lip balms, some of them are really expensive, but nothing can really beat good old vaseline! It lasts really long, it’s so moisturising and it makes your lips so shiny and it just feels/looks really good, and it only cost me £1!

Let me know in the comments what you’ve been loving this month! I’d love to know!
