The Best Hair Oils

I feel like I haven’t been giving my hair the best care recently, so I have been trying to apply oils as frequently as I can. So, if you’re like me and really want to know what products really strengthen and soften you’re hair, I think this post is just for you! I have been desperately searching for reviews on the best hair oils, but I’ve failed to find a trustworthy opinion. I have picked 4 of my favourites, I feel like having too many wouldn’t be truthful, but having 1 or 2 wouldn’t be of much help.

Pantene – Smooth & Sleek Dry Oil with Argan Oil

I’ve been using this for quite a while and I really love it! When my hair is particularly dry I will apply this and instantly my hair while feel soft again. It doesn’t make my hair greasy or weigh it down at all. If you have really dry hair then I highly recommend this because my dry ends are no longer dry!

OGX – Macadamia Oil Penetrating Oil

This is a lot like the Pantene Oil, but it’s thicker. I feel like it is more effective, as it’s thicker, but it kind of weighs down my hair a bit. My hair isn’t as voluminous at all when I use this, but I can bare it for the nourishment it gives. It claims to reduce the appearance of split ends, but I’d have to disagree but nothing can do that apart from a haircut!

OGX – Coconut Water Hydration Oil

I used this so much in the summer, and I’m sure I’ll do the same this year! It is so easy to apply and is, as it says, weightless. My hair feels so soft but it is so voluminous, I also love the smell. Even if you’re hair isn’t super dry, this still works effectively. You can use this on any hair type, in my opinion, and it feels so luxurious.

P1020454Percy & Reed – Volumising No Oil Oil

This is such a fascinating product, it is called an oil, yet it doesn’t feel like an oil at all. It is liquid but it isn’t oily, if you get what I mean?! It is beyond weightless and it is so volumising but it is moisturising. This is not good for dry hair as it isn’t nourishing enough, but for normal hair it is great. This and the Pantene Argan oil are my favourites!
