Top 5 High End Makeup Products

My makeup collection is predominantly high end products, simply because I can trust that they are worth the money (for the most part) and that they have good pigmentation. Sometimes it can be hard to justify spending that much money on silly ol’ makeup, and some people only want to buy the necessities that’ll change you’re makeup entirely! Here are my top 5 favourites that if (God forbid!) I lost everything, I would straight away repurchase!

Tom Ford Lipstick & Boys – 42 Julian

How could I not mention this stunning lipstick! Everything about it is so well thought out and beautiful, from the ‘TF’ embossed logo, to the perfect colour. I save it for special occasions, but when I apply it, I wish I could wear it everyday! I love my mauve nudes, and this is, without a doubt, one of my favourites. There are so many from this collection, and although they aren’t a matte formula, they last an incredibly long time!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed – Moonstone

The smallest dip of the brush will go a long way as it is such a pigmented product! It isn’t super intense and glittery, but you can build it up, if that’s the look you want. It blends so seamlessly and gives you a natural, healthy glow. I’d even go ahead and say that I prefer this highlighter over my Mac soft and gentle, which is hard to say! But Soft & Gentle can become too intense and look so fake, whereas you could never over do this product!

Urban Decay – Naked 3 Palette

I can’t rate the Naked Palettes enough, they are so pigmented and you can create so many looks out of them. My favourite used to be the 2nd palette, but this one has over taken it because I am obsessed with pink eyeshadows! I love every colour in this palette and I use it with so many eye looks. I can totally justify paying the big price tag because they have great pigmentation and I can trust that all the colours are stunning!

Laura Mercier – Translucent Setting Powder

I’m sure that by now you are aware of the hype around this product, and I am totally for it! This powder is an essential for me, sometimes powders can look really cakey and sits on the skin. However, this is so finely milled that it looks skin like! It mattifies the skin for a good amount of time, but it does need topping up – on my skin that is!

Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long Wear Brow Pencil – Saddle

I love this brow pencil, I’ve used it for such a long time now and everything about it is perfect for me! The colour is the right shade and the brush blends out the product so well. The angle on the pencil makes filling in your brows so easy and so sharp! The pencil will last you a good 6 – 8 months so even though it costs quite a lot, a little goes a long way!

I really hope this post wasn’t too long and rambley but makeup gets me so excited!
